Egret 3 MAME/Toshiba Chassis and Tube experience

#1 Message par Lowballs »

Hey people,

Has anyone seen something like this before? I've linked a video to show what I mean. (bottom of post)

Trying to MAME an Egret 3 and get this judder when running via PC VGA. Arcade PCB via the JAMMA harness, VGA to chassis works perfectly.

The PC is completely isolated from the cab. Earth braid wire around the tube goes to the neckboard. No earth on the AC.

Chassis = Toshiba PB9929

Tube = Toshiba a68ltf356x (tri-sync)

These are newly installed. Recently had a Wei-Ya M-3129D chassis and a Samsung tube in it that was running GroovyMAME without issue. The same PC is still in it.

Things I have tried:

· Two different PCs, both in and outside of the cabinet and two different GPUs.

· VGA direct from the PC to the chassis and also PC to JPAC to chassis.

· A Linux distro USB boot of GroovyArcade as shown in the video via 15khz and 31khz.

· Windows 7 Professional with GroovyMAME/CRT_Emudriver @15khz and 31khz

· Earthing the VGA cable to the chassis tray

· Multiple VGA cables

That's all I can think of for now.

It’s driving me nuts!
