Marco update applied and it loaded up fine and show's 9.6 in the menu. Could you tell me what the changes/improvements are?

Yes I see, you have test it and not working but Marco seems said it works.

Unfortunately, vectrex_rox is 100% right and OutRun 2 does not work in linked mode. I've tried every combination of settings, spending hours trying, and it just does not work. Sad but true. I too hope that this is fixed in a future update as the game is fantastic in single player, but begs to be played in multiplayer!

why my OutRun 2 always show the error "drive board is not connected to main board" on XB360 mode?

@lcommander, try going into the settings menu and changing cabinet type to Upright. That is the only way I can get OutRun 2 to work. I wonder if this effects the network functionality for OutRun 2? Can two upright cabinets be linked in a real arcade? I would be curious to see if network mode works if you could change the cabinet style to a regular sit down unit. Fingers crossed for a future update.
