Re: [RPI2JAMMA - SCART - NUC by Aje_fr] [Problèmes et aide]
ok, i will not remove other folders, thanks.
yes, I have mame plus version.
BUT the problem is within FBA also, not just mame. In regular MAME and in FBA I get the fast scrolling / horizontal hold issue, in MAME plus I get the clear picture but it uses modeline and rotates it 90 degrees.
I have VIP access to the folders, would you mind telling me which are the correct folders and files I need? I will wipe the USB stick and start clean with your guidance. if that is possible? OR perhaps there is a specific post/guide to TATE install, you could share and I will follow that. Sorry I do not speak/read french. thanks for replying !

Re: [RPI2JAMMA - SCART - NUC by Aje_fr] [Problèmes et aide]
(SOLVED) almost !!
Thanks, I did a clean set up, I also adjusted the vertical size and hold on the monitor, so all games are now working BUT, when I initially set the menu to vertical, I have to use reversed vertical setting, this causes some games to boot upside down, Galaga for example. I pull up the MAME menu but see no setting to 'flip screen' - any ideas?
but mainly THANKS for helping getting most games working in TATE

Re: [RPI2JAMMA - SCART - NUC by Aje_fr] [Problèmes et aide]
morning from the US!
I have been trying to perfect my old crt inside my arcade cabinet.
I cannot adjust the screen size anymore without risking breaking potentiometers and capcitors that are 40yrs old!
At the moment my games have a horizontal value that is too high on all games (and on the screen adjust test page) as I mentioned, I cannot get the screen smaller as the old potentiometers are stuck/fragile. Is there a value/setting in a config file or perhaps in emulation station to reduce the x and y scale of the image?

oh thanks! that looks cool and very helpful.
Unfortunately I need a pcb like this that will alter the V and H size rather than the position. Do you know if one exists? I have searched Ali express and google, i only seem to find the postion adjusting pcb like the one you recommended.
I'll keep google hunting

Retroarch FBA saving.....
I feel like I am the only person on here bothering you Luigi lol !
OK, another question, I read in the earlier posts that we would have the ability to save retroarch changes with your next update. I am on the latest (v13 I think) and I cannot save changes.
All I want to do is change the button order on a couple of games on my terminal, I access the controls page in retroarch, make the changes , I save the game settings. I also try to set configuration to save on exit. BUT all of this does nothing.
I presume you guys have the default retroarch config file locked so we cant make changes. Is there a way to manually access the config file and change this so we can alter our button configuration
thanks

Hi, save changes are available with Mame only, for retroarch we are all waiting for a fix (for now you can change it but you can't save).
