Re: Jamma Adapters pcb
Update with:
1)Jamma interface for playing some Neogeo games and Jamma games with a spinner ( Puzzle Bubble is really great!)
Also you can play Eco Fighter with Forgotten Worlds spinner if you are a lucky owner of this spinner.
With this setup Eco Fighters becomes in my opinion one of the best horizontal shooters from Capcom
2)Taito Space invaders hardware jamma adapter

Re: [FS] Jamma Adapters pcb
for Goindol:
put Taito jumpers on "others" ( right side)
Goindol jumper on left side
Sega Suna upper jumper line on left side
then you can choose the lower jumper line to 2,2k or 10k pull down resistors ( depends on your spinner type, test both until it works)
For Freekick_
put Taito jumpers on "others" ( right side)
Goindol jumper on right side
Sega Suna upper jumper line on left side
then you can choose the lower jumper line to 2,2k or 10k pull down resistors ( depends on your spinner type, test both until it works)
With an original Taito spinner I use 10k pulldown resistor for both games.

Re: [FS] Jamma Adapters pcb
Thanks Kold,
I got it working now but still one issue, whatever the pcb I try (freekick, goindol, block party, the right direction is sluggish (not smooth, it kinda jump from a few pixels then stops), I ve tried with both resistance settings and it's the same.
Of course I did crossed tests and when I bypass the adapter everything is fine, both directions are smooth (with the same wiring than the one I used on the adapter).
I have the same issue with the arkanoid adapter, on the same cab and same Sega spinner, do you think I could remove some resistances to get the adapter working like a direct connection ?
Thanks a lot,
K

Re: [FS] Jamma Adapters pcb
Just leave out the the jumpers from the lower line ( pins not shorted) and you will have direct connection.-k- a écrit : ↑10 juin 2020, 14:42 Thanks Kold,

If with Arkanoid adapter the Sega spinner doesn't work, it's because the arkanoid pcb has the resistors directly on the pcb ( infact they are not on the adapter).
Let me know if Gondol and freekick will then work ( I think so because you will have direct connection then just like you tested)

Re: [FS] Jamma Adapters pcb
Hi Kold,
Yes it works wonder ! Thanks for figuring out so fast (and for anticipation in your design).
Now I'm wondering if I should solder some kinf of bypass on my sega spinner...
maybe just soldering a wire on top of the resistances ?

Re: [FS] Jamma Adapters pcb
I have also tested SunA Brick Zone, it works with the Taito jumper set on Taito, but direction is inverted, do you know if there is any easy fix on the adapter ?
Or maybe a dip switch setting on the board but I never found the manual, I see you have one on your Blog, how did you set it up ?

I will check this evening for you! I don't play very much this game
In short tinkering with this adapter you can play 99% of the spinner games and even driving games without having to solder many connectors.
I made this to avoid having a mess of wires for different spinner games.
I also play Badlands, Chase Hq and Continental circus ( you need to make a jamma adapter , wire directions of the hand made adapter to pin 20 and 21 of jamma and then you place on top the interface and set jumpers to Taito )
