"The vertically scrolling 2D-shooter is presented in a tate format, the player can choose between four ships - these aircraft are equipped with the ANSWERER SYSTEM and are reported to all play differently. The game will consist of five stages. A central element are the P-chips: on first glance they're evocative of the Aleste games by Compile, however, instead of strenthening your weapon, you use the energy gained by them to perform sweeping Burst-Out maneuvers. These are most effective when the player is surrounded by many enemy projectiles - a mechanism reported to be essential for success.

This sounds like tricky Bullet-Hell fare, but is said to appeal to shooter newcomers just as well. M2 promises four different gameplay modes picking up on beginners and going up all the way to experienced shooter professionals with ambitions for chasing high scores.

The game will be released this year's autumn on Sega's new platform with the not particularly straightforward title ALL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 3 (APM3), already we're looking forward to a later home console release!"

Bon j'ai eu la chance de pouvoir y mettre une piecette hier et le jeu est une tuerie, le pixel art est à tomber par terre.

Le jeu n'a pas l'air super dur cependant, je ne suis pas un foudre de guerre et j'ai pu aller jusqu'au stage 3 en jpuant à l'arrache. Je n'ai pas très bien compris le système de jeu non plus, tu meurs, tu revis, puis tu meurs vraiment, tu passes d'un vaisseau à l'autre...

Sinon c'est beau, c'est pechu, c'est typé jeu indépendant switch mais plutôt le haut du panier.

Il sera adaptable très facilement sur console !

Seul bémol, j'ai du mal avec les bornes pass net (idem pour le vf5 nouvelle mouture) écran tout petit et pas le feeling arcade d'une Lindbergh ou d'une vewlix bien mastoc... C'est trop lisse, trop polisse, trop pc je ne saurais pas l'expliquer...

Bref très belle surprise !

Encore du gameplay du jeu. Je retiens que c'est un danmaku, qu'il n'y a pas de mode 2 joueurs, que j'aime bien le mecha design et que ça cause autant que dans Blazblue.

j'ai le jeu deuis 1 petit mois, je le 1CC en mode casual.

Je suis accroc au cave mais celui là est particulièrement sympa avec son système de 4 vaisseau jouable dans la même partie qui correspondent à tes 4 vies.
les 2 derniers boss sont supra costaud, merci youtube pour le last boss

il est dispo sur emuline(si vous avez pas de multi PRAS3), je le conseil à tout les joueurs.

Quel dommage de pas avoir intégré un tate mode

Some comments on the game itself after doing a few playthroughs:

-Visuals, patterns, and enemy layouts are pretty fun and a lot closer to something like the DoDonPachi series, but still has a little bit of the Aleste feel, especially with the power-ups.

-The "blow" system is a nice last-resort move that just temporarily changes the trajectory of bullets around the character so they re-approach you in a different way, but doesn't cancel them, so there's a nice balance and it's not over-powered.

-The power-up system is a little confusing, as the tutorial doesn't explain it terribly well.

-There's the "leader" system where you choose a designated "leader" for your team, and there's an overall perk that affects all 4 team members that's different for each character if you pick them as the leader. It's a pretty cool idea but feels like a little more could've been done with it.

-The music isn't too great. While it has it's moments, most of the tracks also have a section that's ultra repetitive and grating, and often escalating in pitch and they can be distracting when trying to dodge patterns and stuff, so this could've been a lot better.

-The system of having 4 characters that are actively switched between is not great either. The nice part about it is it can make it feel a bit more like many old Compile games where you can build up a lot of lives to get through the game, but it's also very annoying that when the pickups to change characters appears, you almost have to pick them up, as they're huge and stay on the screen a looong time and will get in your way of dodging if you don't pick it up. Almost forcing you to change characters whenever the devs felt like throwing the item at you is a weird choice.

-The way that bomb items are often strategically placed during sections where the patterns get pretty complex is a nice mechanic that gives a satisfying feeling when you pick one up. The fact that you can't save bombs for later and that they explode upon pickup is also a pretty cool mechanic that makes you have to force your way over to it, often through dense patterns.

-It's kinda weird that the game has the ShotTriggers branding, which has always previously been for console releases only. Also, with a slight editing of a config file in the arcade version, a whole main menu appears that looks pretty close to what the console menu for most shmups looks like, with several different modes and options, so it makes it feel like a console or real home PC release might not be too far off if it's already kinda been coded for it in some ways.

Overall the game is pretty fun, but would be a hard sell for $60 if they try to release it that way on its own. There's just not that much content here, even though the different endings are pretty nice. Would be much better to include this on a new Aleste collection that has the MegaDrive/PCE/older OS games from the series that weren't in the first collection instead, kinda like they did with GG Aleste 3.

Je suis le truc sur les chaînes de Netageo et Shmup Junkie, ainsi que les podcasts Shmup em all.
Mais tant que c'est une exclue arcade c'est relativement inaccessible.

Le principe d'un nouveau vaisseau imputé à chaque vie était aussi utilisé dans le jeu Namco Dangerous Seed, à l'époque.

Pas mal, au premier coup d'oeil ça ressemble quand même beaucoup à du Dodonpachi recyclé.
C'est vrai que le jeu gagnerait à être joué plein écran en TATE.

Avec les loaders, on peut y jouer en tate, en utilisant rotate.

Je sais pas à quoi ça tient mais je trouve le vaisseau du héros énorme pour l'écran. Et puis l'ost, le look des boss, leur "pas d'animation", je suis pas super chaud.

On dirait une application pour téléphone iOS ou Android, chip énorme piloté à l'écran tactile.
L'univers Aleste n'est plus du tout là, les voies kawai, les mises en scène, pouaaa, c'est soulant ça casse le rythme on comprend rien.
Bon c'est déjà bien qu'il soit pas en 3D comme le dernier sortie.
Raiden, Darius, Aleste, à la sauce 3D c'est d'une platitude graphique, les textures sont pauvres, les formes polygonales.
Le dernier Rtype fait presque oublier que c'est de la 3D, mais bon ils peuvent faire tout les plus beau effets 3D, une belle 2D bien foutu moi j'accroche toujours.
Soukyugorentay (avec un peu de 3D), Raiden Fighter, Viper Phase2, Blazingstar, Pulstar, ça c'est du pure game, les derniers CAVE sont superbes même si je suis moins Fan.
